  • Establishment of Mental Health Crisis Intervention Unit in Federal Universities

Launched by Safer Space, a Nigerian Mental Health Member Organization, this petition seeks to address Mental health issues in universities across Nigeria. Many students face numerous stressors and challenges that can impact their mental well-being. These can include academic pressure, financial stress, social isolation, and cultural adjustment. Many students are unable to access the support they need, due to a lack of mental health services and a stigma surrounding mental health that prevents many from seeking help.
